Our Culture: The 4 W’s * Worship * With * Welcome * Wider
WORSHIP – Rooted in Tradition, Renewed by the Spirit. Worship is at the heart of who we are—woven into every part of life. Our Sunday services draw from our rich Anglican faith while embracing fresh, accessible expressions of Gospel spirituality.
WITH – Life Together in Community. We are a family, and we love to be together! Whether it’s over a cup of tea on Sunday morning, gathering for special events, or sharing in spiritual rhythms like Lenten study, we value connection and belonging.
WELCOME – Open Hearts, Open Homes. We believe hospitality is more than an invitation—it’s a posture of generosity. We welcome people with warmth and authenticity, creating space for friendships to grow across cultures, generations, and life experiences, from youth gatherings to open-home meals, everyone belongs.
WIDER – Loving Beyond Our Walls. We are called to live out our faith beyond our own community. As disciples growing in number and passion, we seek to make a tangible difference in the world. Our Diocese Synod has called us to action in three key areas where we want to develop:
Housing – Responding prophetically to New Zealand’s worsening housing crisis.
Climate Change – Caring for creation by actively reducing carbon emissions.
Refugees – Offering compassion & generosity to those fleeing crisis.

Our Mission: The 4 P’s * Prayer * Presence * Proclamation * Persuasion
PRAYER – The Foundation of Everything. We seek God’s presence and guidance through prayer, both individually and together. Prayer fuels our mission, shapes our hearts, and opens us to the Spirit’s leading.
PRESENCE – Showing Up Matters. We believe in being present—showing up in our neighbourhoods, communities, and city with love and joy. Through events and gatherings, we bring light into the world around us.
PROCLAMATION – Sharing the Good News. The message of Jesus is worth celebrating and sharing! Through our services and events, we declare the hope, peace, and joy of the Gospel.
PERSUASION (or Presentation) – Engaging in Conversations That Matter. Faith grows in conversation. We create space for youth and others to explore core beliefs, ask hard questions, and discover the truth of the Gospel.
