Welcome
All welcome
as we grow in hospitality to others
as we grow with each other in our love for God
as we go wider and grow in our missional identity.

2nd Sunday of Advent |Te Rātapu Tuarua o te Haerenga Mai
Psalm 85
You, Lord, showed favor to your land;
you restored the fortunes of Jacob.
You forgave the iniquity of your people
and covered all their sins.
You set aside all your wrath
and turned from your fierce anger.
Restore us again, God our Savior,
and put away your displeasure toward us.
Will you be angry with us forever?
Will you prolong your anger through all generations?
Will you not revive us again,
that your people may rejoice in you?
Show us your unfailing love, Lord,
and grant us your salvation.
I will listen to what God the Lord says;
he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants-
but let them not turn to folly.
Surely his salvation is near those who fear him,
that his glory may dwell in our land.
Love and faithfulness meet together;
righteousness and peace kiss each other.
Faithfulness springs forth from the earth,
and righteousness looks down from heaven.
The Lord will indeed give what is good,
and our land will yield its harvest.
Righteousness goes before him
and prepares the way for his steps.

Karanga | Calling all
We come like seeds lifted from many places,
Gathered together by the wind.
Alone we are one flower, together we are a meadow.
Come Wairua Tapu, reveal the beauty of our colours.
Come with the gentle rains of Spring.
Let hope bud within us and bring us closer to Ihu Karaiti.
Come Wairua Tapu, meet us here.
What is a Collect?
A collect is simply a prayer meant to gather the intentions of the people and the focus of worship into a succinct prayer.
First, there is an address to God and to his character or actions in the world on our behalf.
Second, there is a request.
Third, there is an invocation and doxology.
Finally, there is The Amen.
Collect 26 November 2023
Almighty God, the Redeemer of all who trust in you; give heed to the cry of your people, deliver us from the bondage of sin that we may serve you in perfect freedom and rejoice in your unfailing love; through Jesus Christ our saviour. Amen
